Can I feed grass-fed lamb kibble to a puppy or an older dog?
Lamb itself isn't age-specific. It's a digestible red meat with useful iron and zinc, and it works for a young dog growing fast and for an old girl slowing down in the sun. What actually changes across a dog's life is how much they need and how it's split through the day, plus a few extras that matter more at each end.
Puppies need more energy per kilo of body weight than adults and do better on smaller meals spread across the day rather than one big bowl. Older dogs usually need fewer calories because they're moving less, but they still need good protein, and joint support tends to matter more than it used to. That's part of why green mussel is in our recipe.
The practical step is the feeding guide on the bag. It's built around weight and life stage, and it's a far better starting point than guessing by scoop. Weigh your dog, start there, then adjust based on what you can feel over their ribs after a few weeks.
One caveat worth stating plainly: if you're feeding a senior dog with a diagnosed condition, or a pup from a breed with known growth considerations, run the food past your vet before you commit. We make dog food, we don't diagnose.
