Our food includes prebiotics, green lipped mussels, chelated trace minerals, taurine and many other goodies to help support your dog's well being. Why did you start Happy Hour?
We started Happy Hour because we felt the dog food industry was lacking a nutritious and delicous premium kibble that our three dogs love as well as all the dogs in our daycare and boarding facility. So we collaborated with them to develop something we could be proud of. K9 Heaven, is one of NZ's most reviewed facilities and has been operating for over 20 years. The daycare’s insights into what dogs love and what keeps them healthy have been baked into every recipe, ensuring that Happy Hour delivers both joy and well-being in every meal. This partnership means that our recipes are not just nutritious but also tailored to meet the needs and preferences of thousands of different dogs.

What are the main health benefits of your kibble?

Can Happy Hour be fed to puppies?
Happy Hour has been formulated to AFFCO's standards for a complete and balanced diet for all stages of life except for large breed puppies. We're concocting a formula specifically for them too.
Do you give back to the community or assist with general dog welfare?
We most certainly do. We donate 10% of our profits to NZ dog charities. Dog's are our life, it's the reason we work in the industry and Happy Hour exists to help as many dogs as we can in NZ. Our dog daycare has also donated 1000's of night's to help foster rescue dogs too.
How is your premium kibble different to normal kibble?
Like all food, it's in the quality of the ingredients. We use fresh, high quality NZ meat to ensure your dog gets a kibble fit for the queen or king that they are
My dog has a sensitive stomach, how should I introduce Happy Hour?
We always recommend changing your dogs food gradually. Start by adding a quarter or half portion of Happy Hour with their existing food and slowly change to 100% Happy Hour kibble across a couple of days. This helps your pups digestive system adjust.
